Maybe in Time

Maybe in Time

Maybe something exciting is happening
at the end of the road.
You can't wait
to get there.
Maybe...

you've just had
a very long day
but there's 17 miles
between you
and home.
Hurry it up!

You can't.
By more than a few secords
or minutes and should you
be driving that fast?
Anyway.

Can't change time.
It's the nature
of reality.
Can't wish yourself there
or use
the transporter.
Yet.

[Poll #688557]

ADDED: Can a person make a personal commitment to quality if they don't say what about? I've been filling out a lot of job apps lately, and I come across things like this. In a very very short job description, that says nothing of the product or office, they have one of the qualifications listed as "Personal commitment to quality." My quality of life? The quality of the product they don't talk about? OK.
