Today I wrote morning pages, then started in on my apartment, then thinking of projects, decided I needed to get to the post office before it closed to mail
1) the $35 parking ticket I got at the Nebs (it would have been cheaper to park in the $26 a day hotel) and
2) a big envelope from the monastery that I thought would cost about 3 stamps but turned out it cost .18 more than that.
Then, because it was sunny I decided to go looking for a drill to make bookcases with my 16 boards, and a cat tree. So I drove aimlessly looking sort of for yard sales, but ended up going to Lake City Way Salvation Army, Value Village (where I got 3 X-file episodes for $6), Home Depot and Krispy Kremes. They didn't have any drills at Krispy Kremes. Just thought I'd let you know.
Then stopped by L&J's and borrowed a drill, then went home, looked for the instructions I'd downloaded from the web for cat trees and bookcases, then went back to
holyoutlaw's and Jane's for dinner and brought Kill Bill, making the third time I watched it this week.
It was a good day.
