Welcome to spring. Have a nice day!
Mar. 20th, 2004 07:59 pm[x-posted to show somebody that I do other things on LJ besides play games.]
I was happy to wake up feeling only a little sore throat as I had a lot of plans for fun today with Randle B. I woke up at 5:30, 7, 9, and finally 10:30. I thought of getting up at 9 and going over there anyway, and found out later I could have but kept sleeping. I am becoming a marathon sleeper.
I picked him up, we went for pancakes at IHOP, in order to talk about important things. (I thought as I drove away, the people in the parking space next to mine are going to move their car into my space, because they knocked on the door at 10:30 or 11 last night and asked me to move, but it is the people next to them they should have asked to move back into their space. I think people think they can push me around, or else I'm grumpy from the cold still, but oh, well.) (When I got back at 5 they had moved a foot into my space making me move into the next space - I left a note on their car.)
After brunch, we looked at movies, and "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind" was playing at 2, so we drove around to yard sales in Wallingford and by Greenlake in the sunshine until 1:30. I almost bought inline skates, but I did get a 1,000 piece puzzle, a silver picture frame and 2 lazor pictures. The movie was great. I'll see it again (maybe Monday) I think. Then I was so inspired by the movie I came home and started to write. Then put up a bar in the bathroom, did the dishes, created a fountain (maybe my cat will start drinking out of it because it's moving water and quit tipping his bowl over) and moved stuff into the storage unit, because cleaning helps me think about writing.
Spring means cherry blossom time. And warmth again.
