I was trying to figure out
how to tell how tall those trees are
because I love them, and
this place
and don't want to leave,
when a very large bird circled up and up
and I followed it
as best I could.
I thought that must be a very
large bird
and it circled around
and I thought
it is an eagle
then it circled around
and another joined it
until they were flying together
and turned
into the wind
so they almost were
standing still
then flew off together
no longer circling
but into the west
which I thought
that is a message
of some kind.
Something important

in case I hear
of something later on.
Filled with gratitude
and longing
and prayer.
