You scored as Idealist. Idealism centers around the belief that we are moving towards something greater. An odd mix of evolutionist and spiritualist, you see the divine within ourselves, waiting to emerge over time. Many religious traditions express how the divine spirit lost its identity, thus creating our world of turmoil, but in time it will find itself and all things will again become one.

That's the problem is it - if you're an idealist, you'll always be disappointed :(
Mond you I'm a cynic and it doesn't seem to do me any good...

Hmm. Cynic wasn't included in the World View list. A huge omission, I'm sure. I still look beyond disappointment and see things changing for the better. That sort of cements my idealist statis.

I often think you would look awesome with wings.

I scored as a Postmodernist. What a bizarre thought.

I guess I am the fusion of you two, since I had two identical highest scores: Idealist and Postmodernist.

I have a feeling they mean Idealist in the sense of German Idealism, tho: Johann Gottlob Fichte and them.

Urgh. That would be Johann Gottlieb Fichte. As opposed to Gottlob Frege. Fichte, Frege...whatever. (Oh, good, now I'm muttering obscure German philosopher jokes to myself. Should anyone but me ever read this little divagation, I will note that I do so know that Ficthe and Frege are Quite Different. Also, Anselm, Aquinas, and Augustine --quite different-- except for the theological focus thing, the getting sainted thing, the all starting with A thing, and the always coming one after another in Philosophy of Religion classes thing (though not usually in that order).)

This moment of philosophical weenie-ism brought to you by my increasing impulse to finish my stupid MA.

It sez

You scored as Existentialist. Existentialism emphasizes human capability. There is no greater power interfering with life and thus it is up to us to make things happen. Sometimes considered a negative and depressing world view, your optimism towards human accomplishment is immense. Mankind is condemned to be free and must accept the responsibility.
