Just got back from Corflu.
Thursday before I went I had an interview. Friday, a half hour after arriving in the hotel in SF, I got a call from Seattle. I got the job. So I had a great weekend. Would have anyway, but it got that much better.
Had an article in Chunga.
2 of 3 founders of Corflu were there. I spent the night at one of the founder's house. It's a little mind boggling that I was at the first Corflu 22 years ago.
I now own a giant bright green blow up alien.
I almost hurt myself laughing at the APA play Andy Hooper wrote for Saturday night, Read and Enjoyed, But No Comment.
I also now own a verrry kewl just the right size black canvas bag for fanzines courtesy of
replyhazy! All the zines I got at the con are in there now.
On the way back today, the flight in SF was delayed in Seattle by about an hour (or more). On the way to the airport at 8:30 a.m. I discovered I had left my phone in the hotel restaurant. When I went to pick up Randy from the airport (I was supposed to get here 2 hours before him, but it was really 40 minutes) he handed it back to me.
I had a great time at the con and it was very well run.
I heart my friends. It was just what I needed.
